I am a 21-year old composer, pianist and organist from Edinburgh.  I recently completed a Music degree at the University of Oxford, where I was a Nielsen scholar and a Gibbs prizewinner.  In 2026/27 I will be studying for a Masters in Composition at St Hilda’s College, Oxford, where I will be the Graduate Musician in Residence.

 

As a performer I enjoy playing classical repertoire ranging from the Baroque period to the 21st. century, as soloist, ensemble player and accompanist.  I have a particular interest in the music of J.S. Bach.  In Oxford I play continuo with the Bate Collective and the student ensemble, Vocatio:Responsio.

 

I also specialise in Jazz piano.  I played keys for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland and have had works played on BBC Radio.  I now play keys for the Oxford University Jazz Orchestra and in various groups.  See Performance for my upcoming schedule.

 

My compositions - choral, ensemble, orchestral and jazz - have been performed across the UK and I am enjoying broadening my range through study and commissions.
